Hi,

My name is Debs, I am the artist behind Happy Hearts Nursery.

I am 34 years old, married to my wonderful husband and I have been lucky to be blessed with 4 miracle children after being told id never be able to have children and then having several Angel babies as well.

We have 2 girls and 2 boys aged 5 years old, 4 years old, 2 years old and 10 months old

I have been a Reborn Artist since 2009.
I have always been 'crafty' right since a child and have won awards for some of my previous projects, including turning wooden items on a lathe, knitting, sewing, crochet, long stitch, hand and machine embroidery, patchwork, tapestry and also preparring & spinning wool on a spinning wheel.

I feel I am able to use my recent experience of having babies and small children as a great 'resource' for when painting realistic skin tones on my reborn babies. I always take my time with each reborn baby I create, and each and everyone is made with my love put into every brush stroke and strand of hair i root. I am always working on improving and updating my techniques to create my babies as realistic as possible.

I often take my babies out (when shopping for some of the outfits and accessories that come with them) . I have received very positive feedback from the general public who were impressed with my babies and thought they were real babies. I like to take my babies out on my own 'realism test'. If the baby doesn't pass this test then i won't sell them.
I have been known to stop several tills in one go in supermarkets before now as the shop assistants were so amazed at my reborn and before I knew it a facinated crowd gathered to admire the reborn baby lol.
